Best practices for passwords

Use letters, numbers and symbols.
To create a strong password, use words you won’t find in the dictionary, alternating numbers, letters – both upper and lowercase – and unique symbols.

Never recycle old passwords.
Make a habit of using different passwords for all your applications and profiles. That way, if one account is compromised, your other accounts are still safe

Change your passwords often.
It’s recommended to change your password every 6 months or less. If you don’t remember the last time you changed your login credentials, it’s probably time.
